The kids had a bunch of stuff going on last night, but I did manage to get out there and get it pulled down to where there's only 2 bolts holding it in the car - it'll be on the stand and coming apart tonight for final autopsy.

There's a big crack up the side of the block clear up to the deck that's opened up about 1/8 inch. When I took the front engine plate off, the front of the block has 2 or 3 hairline cracks running in various directions from the deck and toward the center. Me thinks little Donovan may be joining his brother in the aluminum scrap pile in the corner.

I was looking at the front of the car last night trying to figure out where to put an oil tank. There's like no room under the hood, but I'm thinking dry sump. I'll have to build my own tank, but I think I can fit it in there somewhere. I should learn - back when we ran the late model in the truck, we went windowed 3 blocks due to oiling problems. Once we put the dry sump on, we never had any more bearing problems.

I need a sponsor

I'll look at the half full glass
Look's like you definately were getting the handle before the "spill"

Good luck with the fix.

Here's a link to a vid of some of the Saturday night action at Thompson - courtesy of Ryan Rosco (rccracing.com).

My first round run is about halfway through the vid.
