I spose everyone has one of those stories  Way back when I was a kid my told me about a friend that left the shop to go home - he walked out the door carrying his mag. Dad noticed that his car didn't pull out of the drive and wondered what was going on. He went out and found the guy sitting on is butt in the snow - apparently he had spun the mag while he was walking and it had knocked him right off his feet.

I believe the worst shock I ever had from a mag was a model D john deere. It had an impulse on the mag for starting, when you cranked the flywheel to start it, the mag would go....clack....clack....clack, that was the impulse. It had petcocks, for compression releases. You opened them for starting so you could crank it by hand. Once it started you reached up and closed them. I evidently didn't look where I reached.   It dropped me to one knee. My Dad laughed and said.........hot ain't it?   He had a way with words. I finally recovered enough to say, ...........Yeeeeeessss.  Then he said, are your pants wet there son?
