Lil John passed away due to cancer. He was 67.

John Buttera played a large part in building drag racing into the world-class sport it is today. His ideas and innovations have been added to but never replaced. A huge thank you to Lil' John and a DragList send-off to one of the greatest of them all. Rest in peace. WC1

He was THE fuel funny car builder in the early 70s, at least it seemed that way. Then he came back as a top notch hot rodder 30 years later. RIP, Little John. bp
