Hi Everyone, we just got home, this'll be quick for now, then I'll go details tomorrrow or Tues.

First pass, I had way too much on my mind and too many distractions, so I short shift both shifts, lifted early, all kinds of crap.

2nd pass -- 5.72, I had no shift light so just shifted when it felt right and hit 10,053 and 9983,

3rd pass -- same thing, but I was in the 9900's both shifts and I pedaled it accidentally (oops)

1st round--- .979 60ft and the car went into violent tire shake, we under powered the track and it started hopping, I had the wheel cranked to the right and all of a sudden it did a left turn, hard left turn. I kept it about 18 inches off the wall. It never bothered me until I lifted and it kept pulling me in the direction of the wall, I thought I was going to tag it, but I held on and avoided it. I have a video being emailed to me.

Barb--to answer your question, on the warm up---we brought it up to 4000 RPM to somewhat immulate a run and put a load on it to make sure it could keep up with the drive shaft. Tranny worked Great!!!

Now for it's cousin shifty, that's a different issue LOL

talk to you later,
N

Overall, I think we had a very successful weekend in the right direction. We didn't hurt Anything, qualified 4th, learned a lot, tuned the car ourselves, life is good :-)

BP,
I think at least for the week they might be calling it the"Send the Firesuit to the Cleaners Tour" after Nancys "close encounter" with the wall.
