I decided to make a section of the bezel to see how it bent in the brake. The pic. below doesn't show how bad it looked when I pulled it out. (I made some alterations on the brake & bent it a second time and it straightened out some). I flipped the last 5 fingers over so they would come up short of the edge. Then I made a roll edge by putting a radius on the edge of a 1/2" aluminum plate. I tried it that way for the first test that distorted the raised edges & the thin center caved in because there was no support.
I had a pc. of c-channel laying around so I bolted it to the brake to make a wider edge. Then I put a couple bolts in the 1/2 aluminum plate so I could put the brake fingers right at the edge w/o it slipping off. Then I made a filler pc. out of aluminum to wedge under the 1/2plate to support the machined out center area of the bezel. The second test pc. bent perfect. Got a few things to finish on the dash cover & then it's time to bend the real deal.
