I saw a film of one of his recording sessions...he was such a smooth singer. A gentleman with an inbred sweet demeanor, always the trace of a smile on his face, just going about his business in a quiet, honorable fashion. Eddy Arnold represented a part of our culture that is passing into history, but his music will stand forever as a symbol of great talent meets good manners. Rest in peace, Eddy. Heaven now truly sounds beautiful. WC1

My late Mother in Law was a humble country girl from Nelson County Va. but there were 2 names that you could mention that would put here in a tither...Jim Reeves and Eddy Arnold. We still have a autographed picture of him that she held as one of her most prized possessions.
RIP.
