Tom Jones, Houston Art Car Museum Curator

Postby WildcatOne » Mon May 12, 2008 7:45 pm

After a best-ever weekend of art car parades in Houston, Tom Jones, the man who was responsible for creating, nurturing and promoting the art car and its annual show here, was killed by a drunk driver while he stood next to his car talking to his friends. A sad day in Houston, folks. Rest in peace, Tom. You were a wonderful man. Your legend will continue. WC1

His funeral was fitting to a man of his stature. Rest in Peace, Mr. Jones.
