I thought I'd dust this thread off for real this time. I had an outside job planned for today, but we've been gettin' rain so I decided to work on the "Z" a little. I laid up a glove box from the mold I made last spring (curing as I type). I'm not sure how I'm going to cover the intercooler yet. I've thought about makin' it look like the glove box was slightly open, just far enough to clear the cooler. Then fill in the open top with imitation fiberglass speeding tickets to make it look like the glove box is stuffed to over full with tickets.    That might be cool until I get pulled over for real & the cop gets a look at it.
Another idea would be to form fit the glove box door around the cooler like a bubble. That might be a little tricky since I want to maintain the embossed texture & Camaro emblem of the original door.

Oh well, it's glass so if first I don't succeed I can try, try again.

Got the glove box door pulled out of the mold, cleaned up a little & trimmed to fit over the intercooler. I don't think I'm gonna' go with the form fit glove box. I think it would just look like it got hot & melted or sompthin'. Nuttin' worse than a melted glove box I've always said.
