Skip Norman

Postby draglist » Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:03 pm

Jay Radabaugh called this morning and informed me that Skip Norman, the founder of Gold Dust Classics nostalgia photos and videos, has passed away from throat cancer.

Skip was a fixture at east coast drag racing events and was one of the driving forces behind the Nostalgia trend in drag racing. Nobody was happier working the racers and fans alike in the drag racing pits, hawking his pics and vids. Skip was always fun to talk to.

Skip was well known to many of our east coast draglisters. I have to imagine that Wally, Jack Redd, RH, Dave Doctrow, and many others remember Skip well.

I will provide info on services, etc., as I hear about them. bp
