I thought Shopcat was the neighborhood feline harlot, Doc...that's gonna cut back on her business, isn't it? Yeah, I fixed Auditorium. Also finished Stimpy's slide show. Got it on a CD now, it's 6.77 MB. Hope the Trans Am runs a 6.77, Stimp. The misspelling thing reminds me of that tattoo that got popular, where the guy misspelled Chicago. Started out as a lawsuit, then folks started digging the idea, now it's the hula hoop of tattoo parlours...I think the guy spelled it Chicgao or something? Anyway, life is good. I stopped off at the Chevy dealer on the way home and bought that Uplander down at South Padre Island, it's a new 2007. Should be driving it home around this time next week...I'm gonna give it to Miss Debby and I'll drive the Malibu. Ludwig will go to Shreveport and be put out to pasture. I will remove the alternator and put it in Vincent (Kyle's van) since it's less than a year old and it's a good one; also the battery and anything my cousin Bert wants to do with Ludwig he can do. The seats are from a 2003. The body's in almost-new condition, so I figure if I just put a tarp over it, in 10 years I'll have the basic ingredients of a bona fide classic...Cheers, WC1

Update from previous post: It appears that Ludwig will not be put out to pasture...Nick forbid me to do that...he grew up in that van, I've had it all his life. My sister told me she wants to get a car for Nick when he gets a driver's license (coming up soon) so I told Nick I'd give Ludwig to him if he wants it. He said yes, absolutely. So I'll ask Sylvia if instead of dropping large $$$$ on a new car, how 'bout getting Ludwig restored to like-new and Nick'll drive him? I'm sure she'll go along with it, but it's going to be a chunk of change to get him back the way he used to be. It can be done, probably rather easily at a dealership or a first-rate auto shop, but it's new parts I'm talking about...new just about everything...but Nick was very assertive about it. He wants Ludwig. So, Ludwig is his. Life is good! Cheers, WC1

Cool Deal WC. Brings to mind the handing down of Mom's Celebrity to Jeff & Jenni. Sure WAS a nice car, before........ ....... Sad Story.

If Ludwig is basically sound "Body & Chassis" it ought to be a cool deal. 8) 8) 8)

You sure got that right, Wheelz...I've pretty much lived in Ludwig for the last 14 years. He is part of me. He still runs great but he's got a hitch in his step nowadays, nothing a good tuneup wouldn't fix...no ac, no fan...dead air in heavy traffic in 95-degree heat all summer...power steering leaks big-time, needs a new gearbox...handling is still tight but lots of loud rattles and stuff. Nothing a week in the 1-man shop wouldn't cure...Cheers, WC1

I usually don't post something I made at work, but this one was a lot of fun to make. A food chain here sponsors a Tailgater of the game deal at the Texans' games in the parking lot over at Reliant Stadium, and one of our clients had us do a banner for their barbecue team. They have a schoolbus painted in Texans colors, etc. I Photoshopped a long pit and did it up as a rolliing Houston Texans portable restaurant. They loved it. I might have to recreate the logo at the top, as the image they sent is very lo-res and it pixellates big-time when you blow it up to poster size...anyway, this is an extension of the hot rod stuff I've been doing online. I think the Texans ought to sponsor a Funny Car one of these days. Enjoy! WC1

It's been a while since I posted anything in here so I thought I'd put in a few recent projects:

Mike's car, only Orange:

A Funny Car version of Carl Wardle's '65 Chevy Malibu:

A Pee Wee Bowen Band flyer for Heads & Tails...the original movie poster said "Gun Crazy"...she had a smoking gun in her hand and there was a dead guy laying there...I twisted it into a rock 'n roll poster. Cheers, WC1
