Well, now THAT was pretty Fun!!......On the down side, I didn't get picked for the "show" (they choose a 9.60-9.80 field and I had gone a 9.00 (with a 3.......yes, a 9.003!) But I ran a couple of, in "my" opinion, great passes, and brought Peggy home un-scathed. It was cold as a witches boob over there and the wind was blustery as all get out, but all in all I had a great trip. I'm kinda bummed that I didn't get a time slp for the second run; no incremental information, but I am pleased with the e.t. nonetheless.
1st pass
R/T .045
60' 1.241
330 3.682
1/8 5.72
mph 122.93
1000 7.494
1/4 9.003
mph 147.46

2nd pass
sorry, no incrementals
1/4 9.041..........(friends of mine were watching the scoreboard and told me about this number......)

I think I like leaving off of an arm drop!! When I saw Rich Cristenson's (SP?) ears wiggle, I was outta here! I don't have a clue as to when this episode will air (Pinks All Out Montgomery) and neither do I have a clue as to whether any footage of Peggy will escape the editing room floor.

My next outting is scheduled for early December, weather permitting, Tim and I are planning a test and tune session then......Stay Tuned!!

As many of you know, I had some "issues" with my ticker the weekend of Dec 13th. As it seems, I skipped timing a bit and had a malfunction in my distributor....rather than retype a lot of stuff, I'm going to "try" to copy and paste the info here and in subsequent posts......

Yeah, seems the ol' ticker skipped a beat the other day....or, as us drag racers have been known to say.....I developed a miss for a bit. My missus was just sure as she could be that they were going to scold me bad for my Dr Pepper consumption......but as she came into my room, the first thing she saw was a fresh DP sitting on my bedside tray, brought to me by one of the nurses...(tee hee hee...)

Yes, as MIke said, it was a mild attack but my Dr. (at this point in time) is going to treat me with meds rather than worry about any surgical remedy's, such as stints or some such. YES, there are a few areas of concern in there but there again, (at this point in time) meds are to be the order of the day. HE (my Dr) must not be overly concerned with any of this or my appointment to see him in his office would be sooner than the middle of next month......oh well.....Life in the fastlane, Huh??
