Bob Beedy, Jr....

Postby Bret Kepner » Thu Apr 02, 2009 8:33 pm

A key element in the formation of nostalgia racing, Bob Beedy passed away on April 2 after a heart attack. His family campaigned AA/FDs during the 1960s and his blue DeSoto-powered A/FD was a fixture at midwest events often running in TF with competitive mid-six second elapsed times.

Oh my gosh. Bob and his guys ran nostalgia way before nostalgia took off and he was a consistent participant as the scene ebbed and flowed. His A/Fuel machine was as quick as many of the blown cars. Thanks for all the memories, Bob, and rest in peace. bp

We are all in shock, Bobby was a good friend and loved by all. None tougher on the track and a true gentleman. Godspeed Bobby. He's with Bob Sr. now. Sincere condolences to Maureen and the family. R.I.P Bobby. Image
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.
