Jeff has an unidentified whine in the caah since he did a brake job a couple days ago. It's not a metallic sound and it is affected only by speed. Applying brakes or getting on or off the gas has not affect. We put it up on jack stands and can not duplicate the sound, so it's not driveline related. Brakes work fine, but we're going to rebleed them today before we load it up. Today Jeff is going to take the air dam off and make a lap to see if it changes any, thinking it may be a wind noise? Dunno. It sounds exactly like one of the deer whistles people put on their caahs. When he drives by the house it sounds like it has a procharger under the hood, very noticeable. Ann E. Way at first he didn't know if he wanted to bring the camaro, but we are both purdy' sure it isn't going to be an issue. Jeff has today off, so between getting last minute signs done & getting the geves trailer ready, we'll look a little more to see if we can find the source.
Everybody drive safe today. We're still on track for a noon to mid afternoon ETA tomorrow.
