Maritime Drag Racing

After yesterday's disaster with Len's blown alcohol dragster(don't ask!) I just knew our luck had to turn around. Today I got third place in the Sportsman class at Cape Breton Dragway's biggest event of the year. There is a HUGE grin hidden under all those whiskers. Except for a couple of Wednesday night Test and Tune sessions it was my first time in a racecar in 30 years. That is if you can call a flat black 1991 VW Golf with 500,000 kilometers on it a racecar LOL.

Track photographer George White sent me this pic today. Please don't laugh at the dial-in. Remember the old girl has 500,000km on her and won't rev much past 6500. Can anyone spot the Draglist decal? BP is going to have to send me a bigger one......... Anyone else with some decals for the old heap send them to:
