Thanks again everyone,..wow what a wait,... :x

Progress report coming at you live,.....Got the phone call thursday to
bring the Vega into the Eagle Street Automotive shop in Vancover Washington to begin the task of Repainting the Veneys Vega,..

Got to Eagle Street Friday Afternoon,.. unloaded, changed the rear tires out to some skinnies, removed the dash for easier masking and taping
and was finaly able to role the ol hot rod into the paint shop where there
are over 20 cars being either restored, customised, buffed, or being painted,..from a 09 mercedes to a 52 cadilac, there was impalas, mustangs, cougars, comets, rancheros, chieftons, porches, stepside trucks, panel vans, chrysler hemis,..etc etc,..you get the idea,..I only have one shot down one hallway, but will get more on monday...

Blah blah blah,,...how bout some pictures,..... :D

So now its Saturday,..we get the paint booth all cleaned out and ready
and roll the vega into to the booth to mask it all off to prepair to spray some Primer,....

So once that was done, we wound up cleaning the body 4 times to remove
what had accumulated on the surface from sitting for the last month, yea that was fun,..an hour later we began squirting the first of two coats of primer,......

Once it had coverage we start to see just how well the body guy did on the body work, and let me tell the body guy was in absolute awww...
It turned out fabulous,..way better than I had expected,..the last time I did body work was back in 1987-88-89,..I am very happy with the results.

" PERDIGIOUS ",............ 8)

So now the Vega will sit in the booth untill Monday morning and we will roll it out and give the ol rub rub on it/ (light sand), wipe it all off, clean it, and Finally paint the Veneys Vega Milli Miglia Red, wait a couple of hours
and then apply 2-3maybe 4 coats of clear,....I thought we might be doing the art work before the clear but we decided it will work out better for everyone if the car gets painted cleared cured,..then letter the car,..
so anyways,.Ive been a little busy, and im taking tomorrow off,..hehehe.

see yas Monday with,...well you know of what....
