A little update on whats going on,...

Well I delivered the Veneys Vega to Mitch Kim on wednesday, but apparently he has been finishing up on other work, and it appears that my car will not begin getting lettered untill monday..... ,. so maybe I will have by the end on next week,...

Well with this time delay I dont think the handout cards etc,.
will be able to happen with this short of time,..I know all you needed was the picture,..but the car wont be done untill next week, and then I leave for CHRR 4/5 days later,..???? I dont know,.

Send pics anyway once you get 'em, Vic. Ya never know. I might be able to fix you up quick. Can't wait to see this car finished, bottom-line...that doesn't mean that I'm saying "Hurry Up" because you CAN'T get in a hurry on something like this. Invariably a hurry-up will sacrifice quality and detail in a situation where just having the car out there is what everybody wants...and that's NOT what everybody wants here if it isn't really 100% completely done. Let it roll, it will happen when it's supposed to happen and we'll work with that time frame as best as we can.

The car is totally awesome and it will stand for a long time as an icon of the sport of Drag Racing in several contexts. That's really all we care about. As for the handout, I can have it ready in a day or two at the most...a good FedEx/Kinkos can have it printed and in your hands the day it gets there from here. Find one in your area and get their email contact info or an FTP site if they have one that I can upload the finished artwork to and they can print it straight off the web and you're good to go that day.

Your acquisition and restoration of this priceless car has been such a joy to watch from the day you got it until now. It's one of our own, and in our world it's comparable to Howard Carter finding King Tut. You did good, Vic. Very, VERY good. No hurries, no worries. We're just glad it's where it belongs. The Veneys Vega is getting red carpet treatment.
It is really wierd with my car not here,...Bright side is that going into
this week and into next weekend the weather is suppose to be awesome
so atleast I will have a couple of days to double check all the nuts and bolts,..and fire it up check timing, and try out the new egt system,..etc..
I will get you all pictures as soon as It is done.

I cannot thank Dick Pruitt and Mitch Kim of COMPLETLY NUTS INC. for their fabulous effort and art work they have both performed on my car,..it is just incredible and all I have seen of Mitch`s work has been photos,..I am so looking forward to tomorrow morning.
