I will get the info to you guys. I know we are going down Fri, the 26th. I am not sure if it is a qualify on Sat the 27th of May, and race on Sunday or if it is a qualify and race Sat nite only.

I will get the info and post it. It would be good to see some extras show up over there. :)

Hi Rock, glad you made it here.

Either Scott, or Pappy, or RC, said to the water hose guy we need lots of water down. The young man did exactly as we asked, he put lots of water down. However it was deep water, not spread out big area of water. He didn't know. I asked right before fire up, did someone tell them we need lots of water,,,yes was the reply. I believe everyone on the team now knows to explain to the guy working the water box EXACTLY what we need done.

When I rolled up there, I knew what was going to happen. He had made us a nice deep puddle of water, but what it takes, is water spread out so the slick gets nice and coated. Well, when the slicks went into the puddle I tried to give it a blip to get them wet. It just wasn't enough. So the minute the started to spin, they dried up and grabbed the track. Especially since they were a new set of tires, I knew we weren't going to get too far down the track. We didn't. It went about 30-foot and knocked the tires off it.

Nitro Madness is going to be in Tulsa, Ok on the 27th of May. That is a Saturday. We will be going down the 26th, and it is a 1-day event for us. The race is a 2-day event as I understand. The altereds 1st round is 7:00PM according to the flyer. :)

If you go to the Outlaw Fuel Altereds web site, you will find the motel info with a discounted rate.

Anybody who is in the area come on down and see us. The Outlaws put on a GREAT show! 8)
