Ron Miller of Winslow Arizona Passed away at his home today

Postby MTRacing » Fri Jan 01, 2010 12:36 am

I wanted to share with the drag racing world the passing of my uncle (and hero) Ronny Miller of Winslow Arizona. If you knew Ron please keep his family in your prayers.

Welcome to the board, MTR, but I wish it was under different circumstances.

Ron Miller was a SUPER guy, down to earth as he could be and just as nice as they come.

He was putting on nostalgia events in the desert for the past few years and was one of the stalwarts of the Standard 1320 online drag racing club.

I had the opportunity to talk with Ron many times over the past few years and it was always a pleasure.

Farewell, Ron. bp

This is real shitty news to start the year! Ron was a guy that would take the time to always speak to me at the drags and told me some stories about Pat Foster that I will remember forever. I spoke with him at the CHRR and he was as nice as ever...I will miss him!!! RIP...Mr. Miller

Ron Miller, what can I say!! At 14 years old you took me under your wing and included me in the building of Mack McAdams D/G 57' Chevy, two years later four of us took it to the 1964 AHRA Winter Nationals! That started a 30 year racing engine business for me. I'm glad we kept in touch all these years, I'll never forget you!!

Gods Speed my friend, you will truly be missed!

I Love You Man!! John Lane
