Ron Sutherland, who raced the Nova funny car called the Desert Rat, passed away yesterday in Arizona. My condolences to his family and may you rest in peace Ron.
Be kind to whomever you meet, because everyones fighting some kind of battle.

Sadly, this draglist section will soon overtake the next one or two in numbers of entries. It's simply been that long since our sport started.
Ron Sutherland was one of those great Division 7 racers who was out there plugging away week in and week out. His efforts spanned the decades and he was always in the middle of the fight. Rest in peace, Desert Rat. bp

Being a racer from Arizona we were friends, I respected him greatly, he brought a lot to the sport!
