It might not be drag racing related, but Ted Johnson, who ran the World of Outlaws before selling it to Dirt Motorsports, passed away at the age of 72.

Condolences to the Johnson family. Ted took a unorgainized group of sprint car racers, founded "WoO" in Plano, TX and took these dirt dobbers to national sponsorships, and hundreds of sponsored venues across this country
RIP Ted.
