Lou Sattelmaier

Lou Sattelmaier passed away today at the age of 74. Lou raced in Gas, Altered classes and raced the jet car Sonic Thunder. May you rest in peace Lou and my condolences to the Sattelmaier family.

I read about Lou in the glory days of roadsters, but was proud and happy to get to know him personally when he raced his jet funny cars at MIR every year throughout the 80s and 90s. Always a great show and kind to the fans in the pits. Farewell, Lou. bp

I didn't know Lou but from reading what you guys said, I can see that we've lost another vital person in our sport. Rest in peace, Lou. Godspeed. WC1
