Farewell, Bob. I really appreciate Gator keeping us in touch with these lost heroes. I am not a stick and ball fan, so without Wally and others, these guys would not get recognition here. Thanks again and farewell... bp

Bob Feller was only 17 when he pitched his first major league! He had a career interuptted by 4 years in the service. A great major leager of all time.
