Farewell to one of the grand old gentlemen of drag racing, Olin Davis. My experience with Olin pales compared to many, as I only knew him thanks to the Standard 1320, NItrogeezers, and Drag Racers, Inc. groups. His participation in drag racing goes back decades in Division 4 action. But he was always kind and welcoming to us young 'uns, including my son Jason, when we met him at the National Hot Rod Reunion. Here is a collection of Olin stories, complied by Virgil Minor:
