The year is 1976 and the one and only Jungle Jim decided to let Ron Attebury campaign a Top Fuel car under the Jungle Jim banner. This shot from the Winternationals at Pomona was the first time out for this team. Attebury raced with a degree of success that year and ran most of the East Coast Regional events.

The Funny Car is Jungle's "Blue" car from the same year, 1976 at Maple Grove. He also had a "Red" car that year and ran both of them at the same event at a Wednesday night match race at Englishtown. Blue car was his pick. Red car was used as a back-up and driven by, I believe Jake Crimmins and Roy Harris, who filled in for Jungle when he booked two match races the same day at two different tracks, which he was notorious for doing.
