This '37 Dodge is gonna be a real handful blown on nitro! Photo by Berserko Bob
I couldn't believe my eyes! I was driving home from a job last week when I passed what I thought was a mini Pro-Mod parked in a driveway and had to stop and take a look.

So...From a secret skunk works race shop in the green mountains of North Carolina come these photos of the world's only 1/2 scale 1937 Dodge Pro-Mod style Street Machine. Based on a Legends Car (a popular class of circle track racing down here) the builder (who chooses to remain anonymous) decided to build a drag race version for the street & strip.

Looks absolutely wicked! But how will anybody get
in? Photo by Berserko Bob
Not content with a "store bought" engine, he decided to build a 1/2 scale Hemi to power his creation and most of the parts are built including the block (pictured) and all the bolt on pieces. It's going to be supercharged and fuel injected and will burn nitro.

The mini Hemi is a work of art. Photo by Berserko Bob
It's an interesting story how this all came about and I'll pass it along with some more photos here when I find the time.
