Here's a couple of Norman Blake shots of
70s Funny Car action at its best.

Larry Fullerton's Trojan Horse was one of the best
looking and running cars of its day.

This is Larry Fullerton's "Trojan Horse" Mustang II from
Englishtown at one of the track's popular Wednesday night Funny Car
shows. This was the purple and silver "glitter" car that
really looked good under the lights. Unfortunately, after campaigning
several more great looking and hard running cars, Larry was killed as a
passenger in a traffic accident in 1981.

Tom Anderson in the Speed Racer, starting to
show glimpses of his tuning prowess.

Tom Anderson's "Speed Racer" was one of the baddest cars
out there for a while in the late 70s. Mike Kase built this swoopy Vega
and Anderson, who later went on to wrench Al Hoffman's car during his
killer years, vacated the seat and a variety of drivers drove it
        including AA/Dale Armstrong.
