December 30, 2002 - Drag Racing Story of the Day: UPDATE: NHRA Winnings -- What they Made in 2002. Steve Klemetti recalculated his list of top NHRA earners this year, adding the PowerAde Top 10 progressive bonuses, where the racers get money for being in the top 10 entering a race.

Drag Racing Picture of the Day: Jeff Ashwell's Oregon AA/Altered. David Hapgood shot Ashwell's 23-T just moments before the KB's puke line let go, sending Jeff on a wild ride.
