Laurie Cannister's Girl Power Camaro is making believers out of the boys in the IHRA.

Laurie Cannister is a 41 year old Executive Assistant who also happens to be a pretty good drag racer. Dominated in IHRA Top Dragster for a couple of years until moving to an Alky Funny in 2001. Took to it like a duck to water. Here she's leaving on a 5.88 run at the 2001 Norwalk World Finals -- pretty hot by IHRA standards (different blower rules).
