Trying To Steal A Funny Car!

At last, the story can be told. A long-long time ago, 1967 to be exact, a dapper-looking Bob Frey was caught in the staging lanes at Atco attempting to steal Lew Arrington's "Brutus" Funny Car.

He almost got away with it but was caught when he stopped to have this photo taken. Police later used this shot as evidence at his trial. His punishment was severe; he had to eat an Atco chili dog, a sentence worse than death.
