After recently receiving his new Top Doorslammer from oz chassis guru Murray Anderson, Australia's John Zappia has retired the 17 year old Zap's Rat from active drag racing. Zap's Rat was the first doorslammer in Australia to run 7, then 6 seconds. The car now performs "burnout exhibitions" at specialist events, where the car performs smoking burnouts on a very small "burnout pad" in front of huge crowds.

Regards,

Paul
