Does anyone know how to get in touch with
Shirley Shahan, who raced in the early 70's? (AMX, I think...) I have a super picture of her racing a 65
Pontiac against the "Mystery Tiger" in a duplicate '65. You can
email me at
liosliath_m@hotmail.com, or lmanner@ameshome.com
SOLVED! Joe McHugh writes:
You should be able to get her at the family business " SS Shirts"
- Shahan Screen Printing. Their address is 1868 E. Tulare Ave. Tulare,
CA 93274. Phone number 559-685-8335. Hope this helps. Thanks, Joe!

The "Lucky Lady" A/Gas
Dragster built and raced by Bob Rodgers out of Muncie, Kansas.
Originally built in 1958 it replaced Bob's Olds powered dragster. His
good friend Bob "Pandemonium" Sullivan also from Muncie had
showed him the light with a Chrysler Hemi engine. It's a museum
quality piece with most of it authentic down to the '58 Chrysler
392" hemi, 2-port Hilborn, 671 blower, direct drive and body
lettering. This 100" wheel base ran many 170 mph runs and a
couple of 177's. It features the original magnesium wheels and most of
the original body parts too. If you're interested in swapping stories
or buying this car, please call Keith Hendrix in Topeka, Kansas at

am looking for Larry Van Unen's car. It was an RCS chassis w/a wide
chassis in the front and was originally a twin BB Chevy car. It had
12-spoke 17" wheels on it. Last we heard, it was in the Carlsbad
area. It had long and short bodies. The next car was the 210" Don
Long car of Danny Ongais that was the-COX CAR WITH FULL BODY. Contact

I thought you might help me. I live in Sweden
and my husband-to-be bought a 1970 Dodge Challenger last year. That
particular car has been Paul Rossi's car. He sold it to Sylvia Hauser at the
end of the 70's. She sold the car back in 1985 to Joran Persaker in Sweden
who now sold the car to Joakim Martenson, my husband-to-be. Joakim is
looking for more information about the car and seeks Paul Rossi and Sylvia
Hauser regarding information about the car, engines, elapsed time, paints
etc. I noticed her in your list, she uses a 1988 Chrysler Daytona running a
500" engine. Can you please help us find those two? It is hard to find
them and we hope you might help us. The Challenger can be viewed at Joakim's
homepage: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/5740/
Thank you for taking your time. Best wishes. Nina Grandin, Sweden
