Desperately Seeking Foster's King Cobra Mustang F/C
Looking for the whereabouts or information on this car. It is the
Gerald Foster's King Cobra F/C. This is a Logghe Stamping Co. The car ran
a Late Model Ed Pink Hemi. Car was campaigned in the early '70s by Sidney
Foster and I and then Frank Huff and I. This picture is one of the last
and most accurate I know of. Any information on this car would be greatly
appreciated. Also interested in information on the "Shreve
Automotive" Top Fuel Dragster driven by Dave Chenevert. This was a
Don Long car full-bodied front-motored car. I believe the car was around
190 inches long and 392 powered. Information on either of these cars would
be greatly appreciated. Tom Gorman g7gorms@earthlink.net

Desperately Seeking the Chug a Bug Gasser. Photo thanks to Donna
Searching for my husband's '48 Anglia. Raced
in '60 & '70s at York US 30, Vargo, Maple Grove, Numidia Dragways in
PA, Atco Dragway, NJ; Cecil County Dragway, MD. If you have seen it, even
years back, please let us know. Last we heard it was in Lancaster County, it
had been sold to a guy in Huntington Valley. The interior had been black
pleated & rolled. The lettering was done by Jim the Painter from Philly.
It had a picture of 'Hillbilly Bear' and was called "Chug a Bug."
It was owned by G. K. Bernhard & Sons and driven by G. K. Bernhard. Its
class was BB/Gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see picture
of the way it looked when it raced last, this picture was taken at Maple
Grove Dragway. Thanks for any help. Donna845@aol.com

I am restoring a 1950 Crosley B/Altered and am looking for any info,
pictures, 8mm movies or any other info pertaining to the car. The car was
raced from 1963-1968 and was called the "Exterminator." It was
sponsored by Edgewater Autoparts and had the number 27 B/Altered behind the
rear wheels on the side of the car. The car was raced primarily in the
Midwest such as Great Lakes Dragaway, US 30, and Rockford Dragaway. Besides
being raced on the UDRA circuit, it was also shown at the 1964-1967 car
shows that took place at Chicago's McCormick Place. The car started out in
1963, blue in color and then was changed to black from 1964-1966. In 1967
the car was painted purple and renamed "Psycho." My Email address
is meanstreets1@juno.com.
Any info pertaining to the "Exterminator "or the
"Psycho" would be greatly appreciated! Thank You.

I have gotten back my old D/Altered and would like to know if anyone out
there has a picture of it. At first it had a Crosley body and later it had a
fiberglass T bucket. It has a 302 GMC bored to 320 with a 550 Super Le
Guerre Cam. Too many tricks to mention. It raced at Capitol and Aquasco, and
also at Delmar, Delaware. I raced from '61 to '65 and was moderately successful.
It was called the "Six Pack TO GO." I would like to have some pics
of it if anyone has any. Write, call, or email Pete Lovelace, 3100 Southfork, Cody,
WY 82414, 307-587-2094. pete@mail.wtp.net
