a new definition of pain in the arse has come to my attention......We got that
other trailer and I am in the process of swapping some of the stuff from my
trailer into the "new" one.... starting with my cabinets.

Now, keep in mind, I built those cabinets Purposely out of square, to accommodate the area that they were going in....not a big deal, except the new trailer is out of square in the opposite direction....grrrrr.....I have spent the better part of two complete days just trying to get the base cabinets done; and there is STILL the uppers that need to be renovated. I think I am going to use the upper "box" (because it seems to be a pretty good size, etc.)
but the doors are going to have to Go!.....The upper doors, all both of them, are done in such a way that they slide from side to side, with one in front of the other....in order to open the right side of the cabinet, you must slide that side of the door to the left, then, to access the left side, you have to slide both doors to the right. That set up may work fine in a 1960's vintage mobile home for the closet doors, but it is truly a pain in the backside for the inside of a car trailer. Those sliding doors are going to get modified into 4 individual doors, skinned with white aluminum and the edges trimmed with 3/4 inch aluminum angle, then have a hinge installed on the left and right sides (as needed)......ummm....not sure at this point in time what kind of latch mechanism to use on those uppers.....may use bungee cords tongue3

Meanwhile, Peggy sits there in Patch, patiently waiting for me to get through fiddle-fartin' around with this other box and take her out to stretch her legs.....All in good time, my dear!!

hmmmm...a report huh......ok...I'll give it a shot......

Tomorrow, when I go over to Tim's, I'll probably walk out behind Tim's house
to take a peek at Peggy. I fully expect to be greeted by an ever increasing
layer of dust on the hood, fenders, trunk lid and roof as well as an enlarged number of cob webs stringing from wall to wall and from the rocker panels to the floor (those pesky spiders have been trying to anchor my pride an joy to the floor for years....and they are getting pretty good at it). In addition to those items, I'll more than likely be astonished at how many ants have decided that Patch makes a pretty good multi family condominium  ....around these parts, pissants are a penny a billion and there are ALWAYS a bumper crop of both them and Fire Ants....(Did I mention that I HATE ants??grrrr....mess up a great picnic in a heartbeat  ...)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my report

Everything pretty much went according to my written scenario...in other words....it surficed as a pre- report report

on a disappointing note...I was going to fire the ol' girl up and discourage any rats from taking up residence in the headers or mufflers, but my batteries decided that they didn't have enough ooomph to wake the silly thing up...oh it spun over a few times...but not with any real convictions towards lighting off.....I DID manage to scare the b-jeezus out of Tim's son-in-law's younger brother though......He made the mistake of leaning on my front end with his suntan lotion dripping hands to take a closer look at my motor....so i nailed his ears with a blast from my Aoogahhhh horn  He liked to have jumped out of his swim trunks ..(battery was plenty up for That....<G> )
