DINWIDDIE, Va. - Bruce Litton led first day Top Fuel qualifying at the IHRA ACDelco Nationals presented by Chevrolet at Virginia Motorsports Park. The Indianapolis-based driver established the quickest run with a 4.789 second, 313.44 mile per hour pass.

17-year old Josh Starcher of Fairmount, WV, qualified 5th for his first-ever IHRA Top Fuel race.

Other number one qualifiers in the professional categories include Bob Rieger, Tampa, Fla., in Pro Modified; Steve Stordeur, Goshen, Ohio, in Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson; Mark Thomas, Louisville, Ohio, in Funny Car; and Carl Baker, N. Ridgeville, Ohio in Sunoco Pro Stock.

Qualifying continues Saturday at Noon with final eliminations Sunday. The ACDelco Nationals is the second stop on the twelve-race Hooters IHRA Racing Series.
