NORWALK, Ohio - Carl Baker, of N. Ridgeville, Ohio, led first day Sunoco Pro Stock qualifying for the IHRA Sunoco World Nationals at Norwalk, Ohio.

Other number one qualifiers in the professional categories include Steve Stordeur, Goshen, Ohio, in Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley-Davidson, Shannon Jenkins, Tuscaloosa, Ala., in Pro Modified; and Dale Brand, Sully, Iowa, in Funny Car.

Rain postponed Friday evening qualifying. Qualifying continues Saturday at Noon with championship eliminations Sunday. The Sunoco World Nationals is the ninth stop on the twelve-race Hooters IHRA Racing Series.

NORWALK, Ohio -- Results Friday after qualifying for the 25th annual Sunoco World Nationals presented by Ethanol at Norwalk Raceway Park, ninth of 12 events in the Hooters IHRA Drag Racing Series. Qualifying will continue Saturday for Sunday's final eliminations.
