Brother Tim, Flyin' Phil, and I are back from the inaugural Funny Car Reunion at Englishtown. Man, did we have fun! It was great to meet all the racers and fans. The racers put on an awesome show. I've returned to computer problems and it's 3:19am, so I'm going to have to hold off on updates until later today (after work).

For now, I'll report that the overall "winner" was Rob Bruce, who set the Dodger Glenn Memorial Low ET and Top Speed at 6.474 at 186.20, while fireballing his motor. He's OK; the car's still being looked at. Rob also won the Herbert Performance Parts/Draglist.com Burnout Challenge, with two smokers. Just a tick behind was Rocky Pirrone, with a great one in round one.

Bob Rosetty's Rollin' Stoned Cuda won the Computer Magic Online Best Appearing Car Award, to no one's surprise. Dave Sano, Lou Sgro, and Rick Stambaugh all had showpieces, as well, and ALL the cars looked good.

Willie Johnson was incredibly entertaining with his '69 Nova and did absolutely AWESOME dry hops to win the Drag Racing Online Best Dry Hop award.

Frank Jonkman thrilled us all with a great 6.91 number in round one, only to have the chutes fail. Frank went into the sand trap hard, then into and through the catch net. He was OK, but the Nitromare was much worse for wear.

We will have photos and details of all the weekend's events as the week goes on. It was great to meet everybody up there. Time for bed! Bill
