In keeping with Hook's old photos, here are a couple of shots from 1955 Great Bend. Dave Marquez's roadster, I believe, won best appearing car and crew. The graphic on the side of the hood said, "The Speedball Spic," something that you wouldn't see in this day and age. I don't know who owns the second roadster. Interesting metal flake paint, though.
