Wendell White owned/owns several nursing homes in the Walla Walla,
Washington/ Milton-Freewater, Oregon, area. He was also in on the dragstrip at Walla Walla with Jerald McBee. WW ran a B/A Bantam w/426 for a number of years before buying a used AA/FC from Kenney Goodell. White renamed it White's Lightning and ran BB/FC. The car was upgraded a couple times and ended up as a Corvette. It was competitive and DID run points and match races. Goodell actually drove it a few times, as did a couple of others. Wendell drove most. Haven't seen him for a number of years.
Here are two from Woodburn in about 81. Car was black, silver, and white. I can't swear these were the same day but Gary Saindon was driving both times.
