Here's a shot of Don Henkel's fuel digger at mid track that beat the Ivo & Pellegrini four motor car on gas in August of 1962. Photo taken at Continental Divide Raceway in Castle Rock, CO.

Here's Henkel's dragster in the pits. He bought the car from Swede Erlich who ruled the roost here in Colorado in 1959 and 1960. Erlich built the car in 1959 with an unblown gas small block and was unbeatable in 1959.

Here's a slightly out of focus top end shot of Henkel's dragster in 1962. This car beat Ivo's four motor car then piloted by Ron Pellegrini. Ivo had better luck with the twin than the four motor car here.
