Rain Ends Qualifying in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. -- Heavy rain washed out Saturday's qualifying session of the 3rd annual ACDelco Nationals presented by Chevrolet at Virginia Motorsports Park. Final eliminations resume as scheduled Sunday.

While Saturday forecasts predict rain throughout the evening, Sunday forecasts show clear skies with no precipitation.

Sunday elimination fields are set based on Friday's qualifying. The Sunday schedule will remain as originally planned with gates opening at 8 a.m., sportsman eliminations at 10:15 a.m. and professional eliminations starting at 12 noon.

All Saturday tickets will be honored Sunday.
