EPPING, NH. – Clay Millican led first day Top Fuel qualifying IHRA Amalie Oil North American Nationals at New England Dragway. The Drummonds, Tennessee-based driver established the quickest run with a 4.954 second, 302.45 mph pass.

Other number one qualifiers in the professional categories included Quain Stott, Inman, S.C., in Pro Modified; Steve Stordeur, Goshen, Ohio, in Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson; Dale Brand, Sully, Iowa, in Funny Car; and Carl Baker, N. Ridgeville, Ohio, in Sunoco Pro Stock.

Qualifying continues Saturday at 1 PM with final eliminations Sunday. The Amalie Oil North American Nationals is the tenth stop on the twelve-race Hooters IHRA Racing Series.
