Drag Racing List – Myer’s Pro Nitrous on Fire
Thomas Myers suffered this horrific fire at the recent ADRL National Guard Quarter Max Memphis Drags II in the first round of qualifying. Myers believed that the solenoid hung open, causing the fire while he purged the nitrous system. Thomas was able to get out of his Safety-Kleen Corvette without injury. Damage to the car was limited to the carbs and hood scoop, and Thomas was back in action just two weeks later.
