Woodburn Dragway Race Results, April 3, 2011

“Winning” – You may have heard that word a lot lately.  Recently I have wanted to use that word in a way that I could figure out its true meaning. Weddle, Maul, Cady Jr, Lind, and Hilton proved its meaning at the first Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series event at Woodburn Dragstrip in 2011.  
It was a beautiful sunny day and good times prevailed.  Dave Sattem scored perfect lights in each of the first two rounds in Super Pro. Dennis Weddle and Danny Wargnier each had identical reaction times in their final in Super Pro.  John Maul and David Chun, Jr. left the line separated by a mere .004 of a second. Gordon Cady, Jr used a .01 advantage at the line for his win in Sportsman.  
Joseph Lind made the trip from Renton, WA and defeated all in the Bike/Sled Class.  Hilton recovered from his first round loss to earn the top money in Run Tuff.  The day was highlighted by close racing action, licensing runs, test runs and even some pre-season shake-downs from Mitch Chamberlin in his AA/S ’51 Chevy.
