HIGHT SCHEDULED FOR FULL THROTTLE APPEARANCES BEFORE POMONA

Countdown to the Championship contender to appear on behalf of NHRA title sponsor

ATLANTA (November 7, 2011) Before the 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series reaches its championship conclusion during the season-ending Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona this weekend, title sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink is giving fans a couple of opportunities to discuss the title quest with Robert Hight, one of the Funny Car title contenders.

Hight, who drives the Auto Club Ford Mustang for John Force Racing, will sign autographs and greet fans from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, at the Bass Pro Shops located at 7777 Victoria Gardens Lane in Rancho Cucamonga. Hight is among the top-five contenders in the hotly contested Funny Car class.
I can’t wait to get to the Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga this Thursday. This is my Bass Pro Shops, so being able to represent Full Throttle Energy Drink and the NHRA is pretty cool,” said Hight, who hails from nearby Anaheim Hills.

“The season is winding down and we are right in the middle of the championship Countdown, so I want to get as many fans as possible out to Auto Club Raceway at Pomona this weekend. We will already have one round of qualifying in the books, so there will be lots to talk about.  I am looking forward to spending the evening with the fans.”

Following Hight’s appearance, a Matco Tools toolbox, valued at approximately $500, will be given away to one lucky fan during a drawing at 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to register for the drawing upon arrival at Bass Pro Shops and must be present to win.
