Ken Montgomery flew to Houston Texas to have life saving Aortic Dissection Surgery on February 20, 2012. After one month Ken’s Family had to hire a private medical jet to get him transferred home to a hospital in Philadelphia to start his rehabilitation. The average stay for patients at Good Sheppard is 23 days, and then care will continue with outpatient therapy or home-based therapy.
