(July 9, 2013) Todd Lesenko’s CN North America sponsored Nitro Funny Car will headline the 4th annual Canadian Nitro Nationals at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, July 12th – 14th. Lesenko will be racing Del Worsham in the highly promoted Can-Am match race.
“The whole team is real excited about racing at Toronto Motorsports Park and putting on a great show for the fans. This will be my first time driving a Nitro Funny Car in Eastern Canada,” said Lesenko. “It’s great to be teaming up with CN again, especially in my home country I’m so proud of.”
This will be Lesenko’s second race with CN as his primary sponsor. The CN Nitro Funny Car recently made its debut at the NHRA Route 66 Nationals in Joliet.
Del Worsham will be driving Lesenko’s popular Canadian tribute car sponsored by Fountain Tire.
The Canadian Nitro Nationals also features racing from Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars, the Shockwave triple engine jet semi and several sportsmen racing categories.
Todd Lesenko is driving a selected number of events in 2013. He has competed in four NHRA races so far this season, making it to the quarter finals at the NHRA Arizona Nationals in Phoenix.
