I am excited to announce that the video scrapbook of Remembering Leo Dunn by the Jackson Bros. is ready. It’s a great look back at my dad’s race cars and the history of drag racing. He was among a breed of racers from the past who did it for the sport, and for fun. Many of the racers including my dad raced every weekend while working a full-time job. The race track my dad and my family usually went to was our home town race track, Fremont Drag Strip, later known as Baylands Raceway. We made many friends and loved the family sport it was for its time.
This fun video is 16 minutes in length and mostly of my dad’s race cars. It’s presented with a nice background of easy listening music.
The cost is $20. This price includes shipping and handling, and an outlined list of my dad’s race cars that I researched and wrote. Also included with the purchase of this video the Jackson Bros. are also offering a ½ sale price to selected race car videos. Contact the Jackson Bros. for specific details – restrictions apply. Their contact information is:
The Jackson Bros @ 707-426-3532 or e-mail them @ jacksonbros for details. Webpage: http://www.nostalgiadrags.com/
If you would like to purchase the Remembering Leo Dunn video please email me at this address: vlarrow or my cell phone number is 707-360-8794.
I will use the money to pay for the cost of production and to create a webpage dedicated to my dad, all involved with him, and the history of drag racing.
I have enjoyed researching and writing the history of my dad’s racecars and drag racing. All goes as planned I will be out of school in May of 2014, (Master’s in nursing), and then I will have a lot more time to write and categorize the over 70 photos I have collected so far. You can see some of those photos on Facebook at the site named, Leo Dunn Memorial.
Thank you for your support, Vickie Dunn Larrow
