(04-04-2014) Mechanicsville, MD – The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods (NEOPMA) will kick off their season opener points race at the “DOOR WARS” at Maryland International Raceway April 11-13. All the Pro Mod teams, staff, fans are counting down the days after the winter we had to see the baddest Pro Mods run the full quarter mile. A 16 car qualified field with mix of Blowers, Turbo’s and Nitrous Pro Mods competing in the quarter mile at the famed MIR venue. Last year’s defending event champion Jeff Miller ripped off a 5.89 in eliminations and with new parts and sponsors expects to improve on that number at Door Wars. You won’t want to miss some of the fastest quarter mile Pro Mods in the country.
Maryland International Raceway’s fans love doorslammer racing, and have built a great relationship with the NEOPMA for their ability to put on a great event with fast side by side quarter mile drag racing, and open access to all teams and their pits. The NEOPMA considers MIR their home track.

Either pre-install the free app at home or download it once you arrive at the venue. Within a few simple clicks, fans can access the interactive apps multi-channel keypad and select their channels for continuous action – whether it’s their favorite driver, crew member, or even interviews with favorite drivers of the past or guest celebrities.
The app can also be accessed outside the live event so fans can listen to the library of archived audio and video content, which will be available in the Locker section of the app for continuous replay of exciting action to be shared and listened to over and over again.

Last Year the NEOPMA had more than 10 cars running in the 5 second range and this year the fields should be even stronger. MIR is noted as a “Record Breaking Facility“ and many of the Pro Mods that will be attending have the potential to break a track record.
