From 1962 to 1972, Dick Brannan was the foremost exponent of Ford’s Drag Racing involvement, running everything from Super Stockers to Pro Stockers to Factory Experimentals through Funny Cars. All of his cars were winners and were first-class representations of our sport. We look forward to having this outstanding champion on Racin’ and Rockin’!
Racer of the Week will be Sportsman racer Gary Phillips from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Gary was recommended to me by our friend in Brisbane, Greg Gow. Thanks, Greg! Gary’s Top Alcohol Funny Car and ’53 Studebaker Top Doorslammer are two of the finest, quickest and fastest hot rods in the world! Gary Phillips’ feature will be between 8:45 and 9 PM Eastern in “JB’s Take”.
