Next weekend (July 19-20) sees the return of ANDRA Drag Racing to Alice Springs Inland Dragway for the Desert Nationals and Round 8 of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship.Featuring 83 competitors from across Australia battling it out over two days, the Desert Nationals are the biggest event on the ASID calendar.
But if you can’t wait until Saturday, the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) and the Central Australia Drag Racing Association (CADRA) are teaming up to start the festivities early with ANDRA championship vehicle displays at the following locations:

The displays are an opportunity for fans new and old to get up close and personal with the high-octane world of ANDRA Drag Racing ahead of what promises to be a thunderous occasion in the Red Centre.
Tickets for the Desert Nationals are available at the gate. Gates open from 9am on Saturday July 19 and Sunday July 20. Racing begins from 10am both Saturday and Sunday. For more information please click here.
